Go Youn-jung (Korean: 고윤정; born on April 22, 1996) is a South Korean actress and model signed under MAA.[1] She made her acting debut in the television series He Is Psychometric (2019) and gained recognition for her supporting role in the Netflix production Sweet Home (2020). She is also known for her work in the series Law School (2021), Alchemy of Souls (2022–2023), and Disney+ original Moving (2023), as well the film Hunt (2022).

Career Journey

Upon graduating from Seoul Women's University, Go Youn-jung ventured into the realm of entertainment, joining MAA Entertainment as both a model and actress. Her initial foray into the industry involved modeling for prominent brands such as Sports, Nike, Giorgio Armani, Ritz Crackers, and featuring in various commercials for KT.

Acting Debut and Noteworthy Performances

In 2019, fueled by a passion for acting, Go Youn-jung marked her debut in the television series "He Is Psychometric," portraying the character Kim So-hyun.

The year 2020 witnessed her impactful cameo in the Korean Netflix series "The School Nurse Files," earning accolades for her performance. Simultaneously, she garnered widespread acclaim for her role as Park Yu-ri, a poignant caretaker with a tragic past, in the hit Netflix series "Sweet Home."

Transitioning seamlessly into 2021, Go Youn-jung took on the role of Jeon Yeseul in "Law School," earning recognition for her compelling portrayal of a law student grappling with dating violence.

Breaking into the film industry in 2022, she made her debut in the action thriller "Hunt." The same year, Go Youn-jung joined the cast of the tvN period fantasy series "Alchemy of Souls," making a notable appearance as skilled assassin Nak-su in Part 1. In December 2022, she reprised her role as the female lead in Part 2 of the series – "Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow," portraying an amnesiac priestess named Jin Bu-yeon alongside Lee Jae-wook.

In the ongoing year, 2023, she takes on the character of Jang Hui-soo in the Disney+ series "Moving."
